Martyr Rajendra had joined the army in February 1995. He became a subedar only about five years ago. Rajendra Kumar Bhambu was posted in Rajouri in 11 Rajrif. Just last month, on July 16, he had joined duty after spending a month’s leave in the village. Shaheed Rajendra has two daughters, 24-year-old Priya, 24 and 20-year-old Sakshi, who are preparing for UPSC while graduating in Jaipur.
