Uddhav Thackeray Slams Bhagat Singh Koshyari: Controversy is increasing over the statement of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. After Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, now party chief and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has demanded action against Governor Koshyari for a controversial statement. Thackeray said in a press conference in Mumbai that he does not want to insult the post of Governor, but the one who is sitting on that chair should also respect it.
In PC, Uddhav Thackeray said, “I am starting today’s PC with the slogan of Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra. For how long will you respect them? I do not want to insult the post of Governor anywhere, but the one who sits on that chair should also respect it. Look at Koshyari’s statements for the last three years. Kovid was there when I was CM but he was in a hurry to start religious places. Staying in Maharashtra is insulting Marathi people like this. They did not see the slippers of Kolhapur, there is no need to show them the slippers of Kolhapur. Who takes this statement and how, I cannot say. This statement did not come just like that. There should be an action against the person sitting on the post of Governor, that is our demand.
