The Congress has reacted, calling it an attempt to suppress the agitation of the party against the central government on the issue of inflation and unemployment. Congress leader Ajay Maken said that whatever action is being taken at this time is being done to intimidate the Congress.

Ajay Maken said that the whole country is watching how Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Congress offices have been surrounded. He said that on the 5th we announced a nationwide movement against inflation, but a letter came from Delhi Police that we cannot hold any protest on this date. He said that we are not going to back down. We will protest outside the PM’s residence as well as the governor’s residence. He said that we want to surround the government on three issues. We will oppose GST on inflation, unemployment and food.

‘Government with a frustrated mindset’

Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that this government wants that inflation and unemployment should not be talked about. The government wants to divert the attention of all the people by taking such action. He said that the government wants to create an atmosphere of fear, but we will continue to raise issues related to the people. He said that this government is suffering from a frustrated mentality.

‘PM Modi believes in politics of threat’

On this matter, another Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress has been raising the issue of inflation in the House as well. We will not sit silent. He said that PM Modi believes in the politics of intimidation, but we will continue to oppose the economic policy of the Modi government and our performance will definitely be there. Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress will continue to fight against this vendetta politics and only those who threaten are afraid.
