Under this campaign, on August 14, the people of Delhi will sing the national anthem with flags in their hands to celebrate the 75th Independence Day of Independence at 5 pm and will also take a pledge to make India the number one country in the world. Along with the ‘Har Haath Tricolor’ campaign, the government has also installed 500 tricolors waving proudly in the sky in Delhi.
To celebrate 75 years of independence, the Delhi government’s ambitious campaign ‘Har Haath Tricolor’ has already started. In this episode, on Friday, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia distributed the national flag among the students at Shaheed Captain Amit Verma Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Indrapuri.
On this occasion the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with the students. Also told them about the importance of the national flag and the tricolor campaign every hand. This campaign to infuse the capital with the spirit of patriotism was announced by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on June 4. Under this campaign, the government is distributing 25 lakh tricolors in the capital.
Sisodia said that since independence, India has come a long way in the last 75 years and now the time has come to be a global leader. This will happen only when the whole country will take a pledge to make India the number one country in the world. In this direction, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has started Har Haath Tricolor campaign in Delhi and under this 25 lakh tricolors are being distributed all over Delhi. He said that the Delhi government has been working continuously since the beginning of this year to celebrate this Independence Day.
Explaining the importance of the National Flag, Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Indian National Flag represents the hopes and aspirations of the people of the country. We should work to maintain its glory forever. At the same time, it should be ensured that no resident of the country standing under this tricolor is ever deprived of the rights of education, healthcare, dignified life. If we can ensure this, then the country will prosper. He said that children are the future of the nation and all their dreams should be focused on making India the greatest and the strongest in the world.
It may be mentioned that in order to fulfill the objective of the campaign, the Delhi government is running a mega campaign for the distribution of the national flag in the capital. Under this, flags are being given to all the students of Delhi government schools to participate in the ‘Har Haath Tricolor’ campaign. Apart from this, more than 100 programs will be organized in the capital on the eve of Independence Day.
