Stampede at Khatu Shyam fair in Sikar, Rajasthan, death of three women devotees

Khatu Shyam Temple Stampede: There was a stampede on Monday morning in the monthly fair of Baba Shyam in the famous Khatushyamji of Rajasthan. 3 women devotees died in this incident. In fact, as soon as the entrance of the temple was opened at 5 in the morning, the pressure of the crowd increased, the crowd became uncontrollable and people started pushing. In this chaos, three women Shyam devotees died while many devotees were injured. At present, a woman has been identified.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police-administration reached the spot and started the relief work. At present, all the people injured in this stampede have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

This temple is located in Sikar district of Shekhawati, Rajasthan. Every year crores of devotees from all corners of the world reach here and have darshan of Shyam Baba. Let us tell you that the Shyam temple of Khatu is very ancient, its foundation stone was laid in the year 1720. The famous fair of Baba Khatu Shyam is held every year in this premises of the temple.
