National Herald Case: In the money laundering case related to National Herald, Congress President Sonia Gandhi was questioned by the ED for the second round today. - The ED had summoned Congress President Sonia Gandhi for today in the money laundering case. Sonia Gandhi reached the ED office at around 11 am with her children, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
- The Congress leader left the Enforcement Directorate office at around 2.30 pm. He was interrogated for three hours. She again reached the ED office at 3 pm. After this, there was further questioning for about 3 hours.
- There was a demonstration on behalf of the Congress in protest against the inquiry. Former president Rahul Gandhi and several party MPs were detained by Delhi Police at Vijay Chowk.
- Congress leaders had gathered at Vijay Chowk to march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan to draw the President’s attention to the matter. During this, Congress workers protested across the country.
- Violence was also seen during the performance of the Congress. Congress workers set a car on fire at GPO Chowk in Nagpur. At the same time, there was information about setting a bike on fire in Delhi. Special CP of Delhi Police, SP Hooda told that the police had made adequate arrangements. An incident of setting fire to a private motorcycle was reported near Claridges Hotel. A total of 259 people, including 57 MPs, were detained.

- After about 6 hours of interrogation, Sonia Gandhi came out of the ED office. Earlier, she had appeared before the ED in this case on Thursday, when she was interrogated for about two hours. After keeping him in custody for several hours, the police released Rahul Gandhi.
- So far, 55 questions have been asked to Congress President Sonia Gandhi in the interrogation of two days, she was asked similar questions which were asked to Rahul Gandhi. Sources gave this information.
- Sonia Gandhi was accompanied by her daughter and Congress general secretary Priyanka in the agency’s office. Officials said Priyanka was in another room of the ED office so that she could meet her mother and provide her medicines or medical aid if needed. Priyanka had also gone with her mother last week and was allowed to stay at the agency’s Prabandhan Bhawan headquarters, away from the interrogation room.
