NCP and Congress also protested

Bhagat Singh Koshyari, while addressing a gathering after the inauguration and naming ceremony of a chowk in Andheri, Mumbai, said, “Sometimes I tell people in Maharashtra that if Gujarati (Gujarat) and Rajasthani (Rajasthan) people were removed from here, so you will not have money. You call Mumbai the financial capital, but if these (Gujarati and Rajasthani) people are not here, then it will not be called the financial capital.”
