Punjab’s big heroin supplier arrested from Himachal Pradesh, used to import drugs from Afghanistan

Heroin Supplier Arrested: Delhi Police has arrested an important drug smuggler who smuggled heroin in Punjab. The name of the accused is Pankaj Vaidya. Police claim that Pankaj used to supply consignments of heroin from Afghanistan to most parts of Punjab. The accused Amritsar resident Pankaj alias Amit alias Sanju Baba has been arrested from Himachal Pradesh. Two luxury cars have also been recovered from it. Apart from this, a total of 6 properties have been detected across the country.

Crime Branch Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) DCP KPS ​​Malhotra said that last month, the crime branch’s ANTF had recovered 21.4 kg of heroin (heroin worth 130 crores) and arrested four accused. These people had disclosed during interrogation that Sanju Baba had the business of supplying heroin all over Punjab. Since then the police was looking for him. After the arrest of the four, it was also revealed that the accused Pankaj Vaidya used to bring heroin from Afghanistan to Punjab via Delhi. After this heroin was sold to all the small dealers of Punjab. After the arrest of the four, accused Pankaj had gone underground.

Where did the police search to find Pankaj

Police conducted raids in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, UP and Himachal Pradesh in search of Pankaj. With the help of technical surveillance, it was found that the accused is present in Himachal Pradesh. After the information, he was arrested on Friday. During interrogation, the accused revealed that he was in jail several years back. That’s when he met a drug dealer. These people used to supply heroin from Afghanistan and supply it all over the country. After coming out of jail, Pankaj also started the business of heroin. Gradually he became the biggest heroin smuggler of the country. The police claim that he is the biggest supplier of heroin in the whole of Punjab. A case is registered against Pankaj under the section of UAPA in Jammu. The Jammu Police was looking for him. Apart from this, many cases are registered against him in Punjab.
