The day of 14 August is being celebrated as Partition Vibhishika Memorial Day. The purpose of celebrating this Memorial Day is to promote social harmony, human empowerment and unity. It is our resolve that by the year 2047, we will fully realize the dreams of our freedom fighters.

He sacrificed everything so that we can all breathe in a free India. This is a festive occasion. Tricolor campaign is going on in every house. Today, the tricolor is flying proudly in every nook and corner of our country. India is making progress every day. Everyone has equal rights in the country.
He said that women had to struggle for a long time to get the right to vote in most of the democratic countries, but from the very beginning of our republic, India adopted universal adult suffrage. The ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was started in March 2021 by reviving the memory of Dandi Yatra. That epoch-making movement established our struggle on the world stage. Our festival was started by honoring him. This festival is dedicated to the people of India.
President Draupadi Murmu Said that the decision of the government to celebrate every 15 November as ‘Tribal Pride Day’ since last year is welcome. Our tribal superheroes are not just local or regional icons but they are a source of inspiration for the entire nation. Referring to Corona, he said that we started the biggest vaccination campaign in human history with the vaccine made in the country itself. Last month, we crossed the 200 crore vaccine coverage mark. When the world was grappling with the economic consequences of the severe crisis of the Corona epidemic, India took care of itself and is now moving forward again at a rapid pace. At present, India is one of the fastest growing major economies in the world.

The source of India’s new self-confidence is the youth, farmers and above all the women of the country. Women are moving ahead, overcoming many stereotypes and barriers. Their increasing participation in social and political processes will prove decisive. Today the number of elected women representatives in our Panchayati Raj Institutions is more than fourteen lakhs. Many of the hopes of our country rest on our daughters. If given the right opportunities, they can achieve great success. Our daughters are making their mark in every field from being a fighter pilot to a space scientist.
He said that today when new challenges are facing our environment, then we should strongly protect everything related to the beauty of India. Conservation of water, soil and biological diversity is our duty towards our future generations. Whatever we have is given by our motherland, so we should take a pledge to surrender everything for the security, progress and prosperity of our country.
President Draupadi Murmu Said that I congratulate the Armed Forces of India, the Indian Missions abroad and the diaspora-Indians who make their motherland proud. I convey my best wishes for a happy and prosperous life to all the countrymen.
