Parliament Monsoon Session: The second week of the Monsoon Session of Parliament was also uproar. 4 Lok Sabha MPs suspended
Demanding a discussion on inflation in the Lok Sabha, the MPs, who were raising slogans, were protesting inside the House for several days carrying placards with slogans written in their hands. Speaker Om Birla had issued instructions not to do so before the start of the session, but today the Chair suspended these four Congress MPs for the entire monsoon session. The suspended MPs include Jotimani, Ramya Haridas, Manickam Tagore and TN Pratapan.
Status of proceedings of the House in Rajya Sabha
As soon as the proceedings of the house started at 2 o’clock in the Rajya Sabha, due to opposition from the opposition, the proceedings of the house were adjourned till 3 o’clock. After this, from 3 o’clock in the Rajya Sabha, the opposition MPs were continuously raising slogans of ‘Aao to the Prime Minister’s house’. Slogans were raised against inflation. After this, the Rajya Sabha was once again adjourned till 4 pm. From 4 o’clock there was a fierce uproar in the Rajya Sabha again. During the discussion on the Prohibition of Unlawful Activities Amendment Bill, the opposition MPs continued to raise placards raising slogans. Due to this, once again the proceedings of the House were adjourned for ten minutes at 4:50 am.
Dispute No. 1 in Rajya Sabha
BJP’s nominated MP Mahesh Jethmalani, during the discussion on the amendment bill related to Weapons of Mass Destruction, said to the MPs of the opposition who were raising slogans that – all these people are the most mass destruction weapons for this country. On this, RJD MP Manoj Jha, AAP MP Raghav Chadha and Trinamool Congress MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy objected citing the rule book and demanded it to be expunged from the proceedings of the House, on which the presiding Sasmit Patra said that it will be checked. .

In the Rajya Sabha, BJP MP Ajay Pratap Singh said that Muslims speak ‘La ilaha illallah Rasool ullallah bahete hai’ i.e. there is no other god other than Allah and Muhammad is his only. are prophets. That is why innocent people are being killed at the hands of terrorists. CPI MP from Kerala (CPI MP) Binoy Viswam objected to this. The Chair of the Deputy Chairman was told that if anything objectionable, it would be removed from the proceedings.
