On Wednesday, the opposition protested and raised slogans against inflation and increased GST in both the houses of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. Due to the uproar of the opposition, like on Tuesday, the business of Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the whole day at 2 pm on Wednesday.

The opposition parties led by Congress, Shiv Sena, Samajwadi Party (SP), NCP (NCP), AAP (AAP) and Left parties are raising the issue of inflation especially loudly in both the houses. . The special thing is that these days the MPs of almost all the opposition parties use the song of Dearness daayan khaye jaata hai while speaking their mind. On Wednesday too, Congress MPs raised slogans of ‘Dearness witch, BJP brought’.

Demonstration with kitchen items in hand

On Wednesday, on the third day of the monsoon session, other opposition parties led by the Congress staged a unique demonstration in front of the Gandhi statue in the Parliament House. In fact, the opposition MPs protested the increased GST on them by taking packets of food items like flour-lentils-rice-milk-ghee-curd in their hands in the Parliament premises. Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi was also involved in this demonstration.

During the unique performance of the opposition parties against inflation, an interesting sight caught everyone’s attention. In fact, fifty-year-old Congress Rajya Sabha MP from Chhattisgarh, Phulo Devi Netam, lifted a LPG cylinder with both her hands and placed it on her head during the demonstration. Seeing this issue of the female leader, the fellow MPs were also surprised.

Congress threatens not to allow the House to function

Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala, while talking to ABP News about inflation, said that – “The ruthless BJP government at the Center left nothing but milk-curd-dal-rice and imposed Gabbar Singh tax on everything. For three days we have been continuously demanding a discussion on inflation in the House. But this government is not ready for discussion. The House will not function until there is a discussion on inflation.”
