Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: The country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of India’s independence on this 15th of August. On this special occasion, preparations are going on in full swing for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. To celebrate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, local people from many states from across the country are taking out a tricolor yatra. Apart from the local people, various government departments are also participating in this. In this episode, today i.e. on August 3, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu along with Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and Piyush Goyal flagged off the tricolor bike rally for the MPs from the Red Fort. The rally will end at Vijay Chowk.
Let us inform that this rally has been organized by the Union Ministry of Culture. Many MPs are also involved in this. An appeal has also been made to all the people of the country to install the tricolor in every house between August 13 and August 15. Under the campaign, a target has been set to hoist 20 crore tricolor. On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has praised the people for putting the national flag tricolor on the DP in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting.
What is the Amrit Festival of Independence?
On the completion of 75 years of the country’s independence, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is being celebrated across the country. 75th anniversary of the country means 75 years of thought, 75 years of achievements, 75 years of action and 75 years of resolution. Those who provide inspiration to move forward to realize the dreams of independent India. Its purpose is to make the people of the country celebrate the glorious history of culture and achievements. The official visit of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad on 12 March 2021.
