Rakesh Jhunjhunwala: Big Bull Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away on Sunday morning. Jhunjhunwala once said that no one can predict when death, weather and the stock market will turn and change like a woman’s mood. Today death really supported him and he said goodbye to this world.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala never wanted to buy one or two buildings, he wanted a complete building. It was his dream that his family lived in a luxurious building and had a grand view of nature from that house. He was building his dream house in Malabar Hill, Mumbai. He was soon going to live with his family in this 14-floor building.
A few days ago it was said in media reports that The Big Bull will now live in his 14-storey luxurious palace in the most expensive area of Mumbai. Currently, he lives in a two-storey house in an apartment block. Soon his new home will be in the posh Malabar Hill area of Mumbai, where India’s billionaires and world fame people live.
How to buy the land of this building
Recently, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala launched the much-talked-about venture Akasa Air Summer and along with this his grand 14-storey house being built in Mumbai is also being discussed. There was a small and beautiful building on Malabar Hill of Mumbai named Ridgeway Apartment. There were only 12 apartments in this building which were bought by two big multinational banks. When senior officials of these banks used to come to Mumbai, they used to stay in this building.
In the year 2013, Jhunjhunwala bought 6 flats of Ridgeway Building from Standard Chartered for Rs 176 crore and then waited to buy the remaining 6 flats. After 4 years, when HSBC also talked about selling its 6 flats, Jhunjhunwala bought 6 flats from HSBC by bidding the highest amount of Rs 195 crore. In this 70,000 square feet, Jhunjhunwala was building a grand house of 14 buildings.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala once said that he wished that former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee and America’s huge investor George Soros would have invited him for dinner at his home. But his desire to be invited to his house to stay in his house remained unfulfilled.
This is Jhunjhunwala’s dream house
The Ridgeway Apartments in Malabar Hill, Mumbai, with a breathtaking view of Marine Drive and windows that open to the sea, are no less than a dream home. At first, Jhunjhunwala was preparing to demolish this building and build a bungalow. But later he canceled this plan and decided to build a building of 14 buildings.
In this building, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was living with his wife Rekha and their three children. Some medium-sized rooms, bathrooms and storage have been built on the first, second and third floors of the building, while a lobby, foyer and a football court are being built on the ground floor. Parking is being built in the basement in which seven parking areas have been kept for a family of five. There is a large banquet hall on the fourth floor which can be used by the family for large functions. On the 8th floor there are facilities like gym and massage and on the 10th floor there will be 4 big guest bedrooms while on the 11th floor Jhunjhunwala’s children will stay.
Larger than a 2BHK bedroom
Jhunjhunwala was supposed to use the 12th floor along with his wife Rekha. The spacious rooms have all the luxurious amenities. The bedroom of Jhunjhunwala is bigger than a 2BHK. His master bedroom spread over 731 sq ft is 20% bigger than the average 2BHK sold by builders today. The bathroom is as big as an average 1 BHK sold in Mumbai, while the dining room is larger than the 3 BHK luxury apartments.
There is also a banquet hall, swimming pool, gym, home theater. The upper floor of the building has a conservatory area of 70.24 square meters, re-heating kitchen, pizza counter, outdoor seating space, vegetable garden. Apart from the balcony, there is also a large terrace with two bedrooms and an outdoor living deck with kitchen garden has also been built on the roof of the building. These days the construction work is going on fast. His house is not fully built yet but when it will be – Jhunjhunwala will be one of the big billionaires of India who has the entire building but now Jhunjhunwala will not be there to live in this house.
