Bihar JDU Meeting: Tomorrow ie 9th August is going to be very important in the politics of Bihar. CM Nitish Kumar is going to hold an important meeting with his party MLAs and MPs tomorrow. In this meeting, a big decision can be taken regarding the alliance with BJP. For the first time since the formation of the government in Bihar four years ago, there is a cloud of crisis on the alliance of JDU and BJP. Know the big things related to this political stir.

  1. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called a meeting of all the party’s MPs and MLAs on Tuesday, amid fears of a possible break-up between the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar. It is believed that a big decision can be taken in this meeting regarding the alliance.
  2. Amidst the tussle with JDU, today there has been a talk on the phone between CM Nitish Kumar and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In Bihar, BJP is in a wait and watch situation. According to sources, no attempt will be made by BJP to break JDU. Nor will the BJP on its part make any attempt to topple the government.
  3. It is believed that today BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad has a meeting with CM Nitish Kumar. In which it was said not to make rhetoric from both the sides. BJP has asked its leaders not to comment on the controversy and wait for Nitish Kumar’s decision tomorrow.
  4. Despite Nitish Kumar’s meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, his party is attacking the BJP hard, accusing him of working against Nitish Kumar and insulting his colleagues. The JDU leader is referring to the recent remarks of BJP President JP Nadda. In which he said that all other political parties in the country will disappear and only BJP will survive.
  5. Bihar Education Minister Vijay Choudhary said, “We will take a decision tomorrow after all our leaders review the situation.” Party spokesperson KC Tyagi said that whatever decision the party takes under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, it will be accepted by every member of JDU. Regarding the meeting, JDU MLA Gopal Mandal said that what will happen in the meeting, it cannot be said at the moment, but something big is going to happen.
  6. RJD will also have a separate meeting tomorrow at 11 am. Amid speculation of a tussle between the JD(U) and the BJP, the Rashtriya Janata Dal has said that it is ready to embrace him and his party if Chief Minister Nitish Kumar breaks ties with the BJP. RJD National Vice President Shivanand Tiwari said that RJD is committed to fight the BJP. If Nitish Kumar breaks the alliance with BJP, then RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav will offer him support. RJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha said that we do not see any such possibility of President’s rule in Bihar right now. First, it must be decided what will happen. We will take a decision as per the instructions of the people of Bihar.
  7. Bihar Congress MLAs have also been gathered in Patna. Bihar Congress chief Madan Mohan Jha said that the party high command will take the decision of our party. The MLAs have arrived and will be in Patna at least till August 10. We are already in alliance with RJD and have not spoken to CM Nitish Kumar yet.
  8. Regarding this political turmoil, the Left parties said that if any alliance is formed to come to power except BJP, then they will welcome it. The CPI-ML, the largest Left party in Bihar with 12 MLAs, said it would extend a helping hand if JD(U) left the BJP and joins the new alliance. CPI-ML general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said, “If JD(U) breaks ties with BJP and a new government is formed, we will extend a helping hand.”
  9. He said that his party had made it clear in the Gaya convention that to save the state from BJP, we will take whatever steps are needed. At the same time, the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) believes that if the power equation changes, it will be a positive development. The CPI(M) is the largest Left party at the national level, but it has only two MLAs in Bihar. CPI(M) politburo member Nilotpal Basu said, “If a new equation is formed, it will be a positive development. If BJP’s influence diminishes, we will welcome it.”
  10. A major role in this political crisis belongs to RCP Singh, who left Nitish Kumar’s party on Saturday evening. Former Rajya Sabha MP RCP Singh and CM Nitish Kumar were once very close. The party refused to send him to the Rajya Sabha this time, after which he had to resign as a Union minister. Former Union Minister RCP Singh has also been accused of corruption on a large scale by his own party JDU.
