On July 19, Dinesh Khatik resigned alleging corruption and neglect in the Jal Shakti Department. Then he got angry and moved from Lucknow to Delhi by doing his mobile office. Anil Garg said that when the head of the department did not pick up the phone, he did it to me and he asked me for information about some transfers, on which I said that I am sending all the information by making a file. After saying this the phone was disconnected. After this, Khatik alleged that he is neglected in the department.

In response to this, Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that he is called in every meeting, there is all the evidence for this. Yogi kept on listening to Khatik’s words with calmness. Then he said that all of you should do your work with responsibility and honesty. Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Dinesh Khatik, had resigned on July 19 by writing a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
