These raids took place at a builder in Aurangabad and the owner of a steel company in Jalna. In this raid, the Income Tax Department has recovered Rs 58 crore in cash and 32 kg of gold. It took the Income Tax Department 13 hours to count this cash.
For information, let us tell you that the companies whose owners have been raided in Jalna have been raided on August 3. The Income Tax Department has appointed SRJ Peety Steels Pvt. Ltd. and Kalika Steel Alloys Pvt. Ltd companies raided. In this raid, the Income Tax Department got information about assets worth Rs 390 crore, which were attached. 260 officers of Income Tax Department conducted raids in Jalna.
This operation was kept completely confidential during the raid. Official information about this was not given to anyone. This action took place between August 1 and August 8. This action has been carried out by the Nashik team of Income Tax Department. This raid has been carried out jointly by 260 employees of Income Tax Department, 120 vehicles and 5 teams.
13 hours to count cash
The cash found in this raid has been counted by taking it to the State Bank of Jalna. The counting of cash started at 11 am which lasted till 1 pm. The Income Tax Department had received information that there is irregularity in the behavior of 4 steel companies of Jalna. After this the department came into action and raided it. Nothing was found at the house in this raid, but cash was recovered from a farmhouse outside the city.
