India Independence Day: Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated in the country. From the central government to the state governments, they are busy making this 15th August memorable. In this episode, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has greeted the people of the country on the 75th anniversary of independence. CM Kejriwal said that “Happy 75th anniversary of independence to all the countrymen, God bless our tricolor always remain on the heights. If it has to sacrifice its life for the sake of pride, it will be a small matter.”
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal said, “The tricolor which is visible in Delhi, our aim was that people should see the tricolor when they come out. When we see the tricolor, then even doing wrong things. If you have been, you feel hesitant. This is the 500th tricolor. Tricolors have been put up everywhere in Delhi. We have to take a pledge that India has to be made the number one country in the world. In 75 years there are many such countries which are independent after us. Yet we have gone ahead of us. The most intelligent people live in India, yet how did we lag behind.
So many children in the country, they do not get good education
Kejriwal further said, “There are so many children in the country, but they do not get good education. We have made good government schools in Delhi. Every child, whether he is poor or rich, should get good education. Every Indian should get good education. There should be good health care. We have made good hospitals in Delhi. Today unemployment is increasing. If we do not use the energy of the youth, then the country cannot progress.”
It hurts when some people…
He said, “It hurts when some people say that free education of the poor should be stopped. A poor man does not earn even enough to eat bread for two times. Free ki rewari says poor should not get free education. Where will the children go again. 70 to 80 percent of the poor will remain illiterate. There are 39 rich countries where free education is available. How did they become rich because they gave free education. Government hospitals should be closed. The poor would not be able to get treatment. Should be the fundamental right of good education, treatment, employment. Will not tolerate anymore and will make India the number 1 country.
