Landslide In Himachal Pradesh: Many incidents are being seen in Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rain and cloudburst. A part of the Shimla Kalka Highway flyover has collapsed and fell down after heavy rains on Thursday. During this, two vehicles were present on the same part which went down. Fortunately, there was no one in both the vehicles at the time of the incident and a major accident was avoided.

In fact, due to heavy rains on Wednesday, landslides have been seen at many places in the district. Traffic was affected due to this accident on Shimla Kalka Highway flyover. Some pictures of the accident have surfaced. A large part of the flyover is seen broken in these pictures. Talking on the accident, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said, “The accident has happened due to heavy rains. The Deputy Commissioner has been asked to submit the damage report at the earliest.”

Two dead after being buried under debris in Kullu

Sudesh Mokhta, director of the State Disaster Management Department, while talking about this accident said that in Kullu, 55-year-old Chavelu Devi and 17-year-old Kritika died due to debris. They told that their house in Khadel of the subdivision came under the rubble after the landslide around 9 am. Let us tell, due to the landslide, shops and vehicles were seen flowing in many places, while many highways were blocked due to floods.
