The commission said that foreign medical graduates would be eligible for registration only after completing CRMI for two years. The NMC affidavit states that the duration of internship for clinical training has been doubled.

Supreme Court had given this decision

The Supreme Court on April 29 asked the commission to prepare a plan in two months to allow MBBS students affected by the Russo-Ukraine war and pandemic to complete their clinical training in medical colleges here as a one-time measure. was instructed.

The NMC said in the affidavit that after the April 29 decision, its Board of Graduate Medical Education (UGMEB) discussed and deliberated on the matter relating to foreign medical graduates in its various meetings.
