For the first time in the country, India’s first fully digital Lok Adalat (Digital Lok Adalat) was organized by two states, Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA) and Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) from Saturday, August 13, on the very first day. More than 69 lakh cases were registered in this court. Now people will be able to get justice sitting at home. 69 lakh cases registered on the first day
The Digital Lok Adalat in Rajasthan constituted a total of 568 benches, in which a total of 5,62,295 cases were registered, out of which 2,28,863 cases were in the past and 3,33,432 cases were pending in various courts of the state. A total of 63,99,983 traffic challan cases were registered in the Digital Lok Adalat in Maharashtra. Jupitis, which claims to be the world’s first justice technology company, hosted this digital Lok Adalat.

Chief Justice UU Lalit launched

This digital Lok Adalat powered by AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Blockchain was launched by Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Chairman, National Legal Services Authority and Supreme Court Judge, during the ’18th All India Legal Services Authority’ meeting held in Jaipur in July. was.
This was the first time that Lok Adalats were made end-to-end digital i.e. no event or act in the process of Lok Adalat (from filing of lawsuits to award creation at the judge level) was conducted physically.

Historically, Lok Adalats have been known as one of the most effective instruments to ensure access to justice for all. However, the digital transformation of Lok Adalat is convenient for all. It has not only helped in reaching justice for all but has also made justice easier and easier in the country by digitally changing both the core and administrative processes involved in Lok Adalat.
