Delhi Police 2 Man with 300 Sim: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police got a big success during the investigation of a gang of fraud when the police got the fake Aadhar card from the 2 accused associated with this gang. 385 active sim cards were found. The police is considering the recovery of these symbols before August 15 as a big success. Because in the midst of a terrorist threat, if such a sim gets into the hands of the enemies of the country, then they can easily carry out any major incident.
According to the Delhi Police, the Crime Branch had registered an FIR in which the fraudsters were cheating people by pretending to be senior officers and putting up display pics of those officers on WhatsApp. After pretending to be a big officer, these fraudsters used to take money from people through Amazon gift vouchers on the pretext of having any problem. These gift vouchers were made available by the fraudsters on Telegram, Paxful.com and other social media platforms. During the investigation, the police came to know that this gang was operating from Nigeria.
Police reached the racket selling SIM cards
When the police started working on the network of this racket operating from Nigeria, then the Crime Branch of Delhi Police arrested a person named Nitin Tomar from Pune. From whom the police got 42 active SIM cards obtained through fake documents. Nitin Tomar told the crime branch that he had bought this SIM card from a person named Parmanand Sahu through a group present on the Telegram app.
Police looking for sold SIM card
Nitin Tomar was further selling these SIMs through a website named bullashop.com in order to earn money. After which the police arrested Paramanand Sahu from near the Red Fort with 200 SIM cards. Parmanand Sahu told in interrogation that he used to buy this SIM from the executive of the service provider company. For which he used to get Aadhar card through some groups present on Instagram. He used to buy this sim for just 30 rupees. And further used to sell these Active Sim only through Telegram Group. During the investigation, the Crime Branch later recovered 143 SIMs and on their spot. The police are now trying to trace those people to whom they have sold these active SIM cards through social media.
