Congress targeted BJP on many issues including rising inflation, said- hollow to Parliament

[ad_1]

Congress Press Conference: Congress has fiercely targeted BJP by holding a press conference on Tuesday, 9 August against inflation, GST and policies of the central government. In the conference, Lok Sabha MP Gaurav Gogai said that BJP is running away from people because of its work. Agneepath puts our national security at risk. He said that even after 16 meetings between India and China, our army is not able to do patrolling. BJP wants to run away from this issue. Apart from this, BJP also wanted to run away from 5G auction.

Gogoi said that the BJP does not see inflation. Whenever we have tried to talk about inflation, the government throws our MPs out of Parliament and threatens them. He said that in this session 4 MPs were also taken out for the entire session. BJP wants to hollow out the Parliament. Congress wants to fight for the know.

Allegations of misusing Ed

Accusing him of misusing Ed, he said that if we raised our voice about the misuse of ED, then we were arrested. He said that yesterday we did not allow the Electricity Amendment Bill to be passed. This bill is very dangerous. We were ready to talk on the competition bill.

Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh said that on behalf of the opposition, we had raised 13 issues on which we should have discussed. But out of those 13 issues, one issue is discussed that too after 2 weeks. The Prime Minister talks big in his speech but nothing works. No debate. For everything we have to fight. Gaurav Gogoi said that how many people lost their lives due to landslides in Manipur, people were upset due to increase in Meghalaya, Assam. Then BJP was giving 5 star treatment to the MLA from Maharashtra at that time. The Home Minister did not go even once to see the condition of the people in Assam, Meghalaya.
