The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), informed the Supreme Court today that it will declare the result of the test 12 compartment Class on or before October 10 also informed the High Court that has been coordinated with the University Grants Commission (UGC) admission process this year. The court was hearing petitions from students seeking an extension of the deadline for college admission exams due to delay compartments and reporting results.
The KMU said it will close the admission process on October 31 will give students enough time to apply to colleges and universities. The Supreme Court has disposed of the petitions and said complaints raised have been addressed.
In the last hearing, a bench of the high court, headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar asked the CBSE and UGC to coordinate and make a joint decision on the declaration of results and admissions in colleges for students appearing in CBSE exams compartment. The Supreme Court had said that the race around 2 lakh students may not be hindered.
