BJP PC: BJP today held a press conference regarding the new excise policy in Delhi, in which BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Education Minister Manish Sisodia fiercely. He said that contracts were given to blacklisted companies. Not only this, contracts were opened near schools.

In fact, after the allegations of Manish Sisodia, today BJP has given answers by holding a press conference. BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra has said that Manish Sisodia has told a white lie on the excise policy. The LG of Delhi has acted according to the rules. He has not taken a decision on the behest of anyone.

Sambit Patra has alleged that under the new liquor policy of the Delhi government, blacklisted companies have opened contracts, now the matter is being investigated, Manish Sisodia’s resentment is coming to the fore. Sambit Patra asked Manish Sisodia why he was calm from November till now. Why not disclosed yet?

He alleged that Rs 144 crore of liquor companies was forgiven by Manish Sisodia without any permission. Now that the CBI investigation is going on in the matter, they are putting the blame of corruption on the Lieutenant Governor. At the same time, the State President of Delhi attacked the Delhi government and said that Arvind Kejriwal reduced from 21 dry days to 3 dry days to benefit the liquor mafia. Now the government along with the liquor mafia is doing a scam of thousands of crores.

Manish Sisodia’s allegations

Meanwhile, today, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia accused former Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal of changing his stand on opening of liquor shops in unauthorized areas and claimed that it caused a loss of thousands of crores to the Delhi government. At a press conference in Delhi, Sisodia said that he has sent the details of the case to the CBI and said that it should be probed. There was no immediate response from Baijal. Sisodia said, “Under the new excise policy, 849 shops were to be opened across Delhi including unauthorized areas. The LG did not object to the proposal and approved it.”
