Baghjan fire-affected people stage protest in Tinsukia

The Baghjan fire has caused lots of casualties to the people of Baghjan. The protest , organized by the Baghjan fire-influenced individuals close to the workplace of the Tinsukia official looking for remuneration, entered the second day on Tuesday.

The townspeople, drove by Baghjan Gaon Milanjyoti Yuba Sangha, have fabricated a tent naming it an ‘alleviation camp’ as an ’emblematic dissent’ to pressurize the specialists to satisfy request.

A victory happened in the well of the Oil India Ltd (OIL) at Baghjan on May 27 and it burst into flames on June 9, which is yet to be doused.OIL representative Tridiv Hazarika stated, “We have given Rs 20 lakh to 11 families whose houses were completely harmed in the Baghjan fire.”Gohain further said the whole biodiversity of Baghjan and its encompassing regions have been influenced by the victory.
