Assam GNM Admission 2022| Apply, Online Application Form, Eligibility, Notification, Syllabus, Registration @ SSUHS Portal: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for admission into GNM courses in GNM Training Schools under the Govt. of Assam for the session 2022-2023. The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) is inviting online applications for the GNM Entrance Examination or commonly known as GNMEE. Candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in GNM Nursing can come forward to apply for the entrance examination of admissions into SSUHS GNM Nursing 2022.
In a recent move, the State Government of Assam announced the admissions into GNM, also called General Nursing and Midwifery. GNM is a Three and Half Year diploma course designed for candidates who wish to make a career in Clinical Nursing. Through this course, the aspirant nurses can effectively perform as members of the health team and become experts in handling the hospitals and relevant organizations’ competencies. However, the candidates should attempt an examination that assesses the candidates’ knowledge in the respective subjects. After completing the test, the nurses will get admission into various private and government colleges.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam GNM Admission
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 17 years to 35 years .
Age Relaxation: There is no age bar for ANM/ LHV.
Educational Qualification:
a. 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
b. 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science — Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
c. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
d. Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
Application Fee of SSUHS GNM Admission
The candidate need to pay Rs.1,200/- (Rupees One Thousand and Two Hundred Only) as application fee. The payment of application fee is to be completed through online mode only.
