‘Anyone will announce to make diesel-petrol free’, Kejriwal’s retort on PM Modi’s statement

PM Modi Vs Arvind Kejriwal: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has spoken after targeting PM Modi’s promises of freebies. Kejriwal said that by giving free facilities to the public, the taxpayer of the country will feel cheated. On this my opinion is that the taxpayer is cheated when the debts are waived off to friends by taking tax from the people and with that money. The taxpayer thinks that he has taken tax from me saying that he will give you facilities, but with that money waived the debts of his friends, then the taxpayer feels cheated.

Kejriwal further said that the taxpayer thinks that he imposed tax on food items and waived the tax to big friends. Gave them relief in tax. Then the common man thinks that I have been cheated. Kejriwal explained that the taxpayer is not cheated when he gives good education and free education to his children. Taxpayer is not cheated when we give free treatment. The taxpayer is cheated when he waives off the debts of his friends. If the loans of Rs 10 lakh crore were not waived off, the country would not have been in a deficit situation. We don’t need to levy GST on milk, curd.

Kejriwal said referendum should be done

Kejriwal said that this good issue has been raised. My opinion is that a referendum should be made in the country. People are asked that if you pay tax, should the government money be used for a family? One party wants government money to be used for one family. Should government money be for waiving off the loans of a few friends? Should government money be used to provide facilities, good education, good treatment, good roads to the common people of the country. If providing facilities to the public with government money will harm the country, then what is the work of the government?

What did PM Modi say?

In fact, PM Modi had targeted the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) without naming it. He had said that, “If there is selfishness in politics, then anyone can come and announce to give free petrol and diesel. Such steps will take away their rights from our children, prevent the country from becoming self-reliant. With such selfish policies, the burden of honest tax payer of the country will also increase.
