2. Degree / PG Diploma in Journalism with a duration of atleast one year from a recognized University / Institution or 5 years experience in reporting / editing work in print / electronic media

1. Experience of journalistic work in Radio / TV (for degree or diploma holders in Journalism- reference clause 01(2))

2. Knowledge of basic computer applications

Qualification :

1. Graduation from a recognized University

2. Proficiency in Assamese language

Casual Editor : Written Examination to test news editing skills in Assamese language and translation from English to Assamese and vice-versa including knowledge of current affairs followed by interview for those who qualify the written examination

Casual News Reader cum Translator : Written Examination to test translation skills from English to Assamese and vice-versa including knowledge of Assamese language and current affairs followed by voice test and interview for those who qualify the written examination
