Independence Day 2022: On the coming 15th of August, the country is going to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). For which preparations are going on in full swing everywhere. On this occasion, 9 jawans of Maharashtra Police have left for Delhi by bicycle. He will reach the capital by August 15 and will participate in the program on this day.

The cycles of these 9 jawans were flagged off by Maharashtra DGP Rajneesh Seth and wished them all the best for their journey. These 9 people include Prashant Rescue, Additional SP Dhule District, Dhananjay Erule, Additional Deputy Commissioner SID, Sharad Patil, API Gadchiroli, Dilip Khonde, ASI, Dhule, Anil Jadhav, Jitendra Pardeshi, Havaldar, Dhule, Prakash Mali, Havaldar, Dhule; Shivaji Howle, Havaldar, Pune and Manoj Bhandari, Sepoy Pune.

DGP Rajneesh Seth told in a conversation with ABP News that in 12 days these soldiers will reach Delhi from Mumbai, for which they will reach from Maharashtra to Madhya Pradesh, from there to Uttar Pradesh and then to Delhi. Seth further said that we are in touch with the police of every state and have requested them to provide necessary help to our jawans. Along with these 9 people, there is also a medical help van and cycle repairer so that if someone’s bicycle gets damaged in the middle of the road or in the forest, it can be repaired immediately.

Meaning of Amrit Festival of Independence

India is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence. It has been named ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate the glorious history of the people, culture and achievements of progressive India on 75 years of its independence.
