Earthquake In Nepal: Earthquake tremors were felt in Khotang district of Nepal on Sunday. The magnitude of this earthquake was measured to be six. However, officials said that there was no report of any damage or casualty due to this.
The National Seismology and Research Center said that the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 8:13 am, was in Martinbirta, 450 km east of Kathmandu. The tremors of the earthquake were felt in Kathmandu Valley as well as other districts of Morang, Jhapa, Sunsari, Saptari and Taplejung in eastern Nepal.
Tremors felt in Bihar too
Preliminary reports suggest that tremors were felt in Bihar’s Katihar, Munger, Madhepura, Begusarai and some other towns in the Seemanchal region, which shares its border with Nepal. No information has been received about the loss of life and property due to the earthquake.
The National Center for Seismology said that the earthquake occurred at 7.58 am on Sunday morning. Its center was about 147 km east of Kathmandu at a depth of 10 km in the southeast.
