Gauhati University has released new notice. Gauhati University, Assam, has reported that it will advance undergrad and postgraduate middle of the road semester understudies based on inner evaluation marks. The tests for conclusive semester understudies will be directed in “mixed mode” from the second seven day stretch of September. The choice has been made in a gathering led by the Vice-chancellor of the college.
“Assessment for advancement for transitional (even) semester standard understudies of all the undergrad and postgraduate courses will be done based on inside evaluation and imprints acquired in the past semester examination(s),” an official articulation said.
The point by point warning with respect to the direct of GU test 2020 for conclusive semester understudies will be discharged fourteen days preceding the date of assessment, the college said.
For undergrad and postgraduate understudies having unpaid debts, inside appraisal marks required to be put together by the schools and offices prior to August 14, Gauhati University said.

- Evaluation for promotion for Intermediate (Even) semester regular students of all the Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses will be carried out on the basis of internal assessment and marks obtained in the previous semester examination(s).
- For all courses of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Final semester examination will be held preferably in blended mode from 2nd week of September,2020 in accordance with the UGC Notification No. D.O.No.F.I-1/2020 (Secy) dtd. 8th July, 2020 depending on the normalcy of the Covid-19 situation. A detail notification will be issued there weeks prior to the date of examination by the Controller of Examinations, G.U.
- Regarding examinations for the B.Ed Courses, a separate notification will be issued in due course by the Controller of Examinations, G.U.
- For all examinations, a 20% of the total examination fee has been waived. This has approval of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, G.U. Dated 21.07.2020.
