PM Narendra Modi Meeting: In the capital Delhi today, a meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers will be held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. For this the Chief Ministers of all the states have been invited. This meeting will start today at 4.30 pm at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Actually, this time the country is completing 75 years of independence. In this celebration, the Government of India (GOI) is running the Amrit Mahotsav campaign of independence. Under this campaign, massive rallies, street plays and various programs are being organized across the country to give the message of patriotism. Under this campaign, the Government of India has called for the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, under which the countrymen have been appealed to hoist the national flag tricolor in their homes from August 13 to 15.
At the same time, through his recent Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to the countrymen to join this campaign by putting the tricolor in the profile pic of their social media account. PM Modi has also put a picture of the tricolor in the profile pic of his Facebook and Twitter accounts. Apart from this, many leaders and ministers of the ruling BJP have also made the tricolor their profile pick following this. At the same time, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the countrymen about this.
Congress is involved in this campaign
The main opposition Congress has joined the campaign on the call of PM Modi, but its leaders have put a picture of former PM Jawaharlal Nehru carrying the tricolor in the profile pic on the social media account. Recently, in the meeting of the national executive of all the seven fronts of BJP in Patna, all the workers were asked to mobilize every house for the tricolor campaign and no house was left without the tricolor. BJP says that this campaign is being run to inculcate the feeling of patriotism among the countrymen.
At the same time, this campaign is also getting support from Indian forces. Recently, ITBP personnel hoisted the tricolor in Mussoorie at an altitude of 12,000 feet and the Indian Coast Guard hoisted the tricolor underwater, the video of which was also released. The same, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted a video, in which camel-riding BSF jawans are seen traveling in the tricolor in the desert of Rajasthan.
