One more patient capitulated to COVID-19 in Meghalaya on Friday, incurring significant damage to six in the state.
Meghalaya Director of Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War educated that the patient, Pankaj Bhusal (45) lapsed at the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS).
Dr War said that the passing was expected to Covid pneumonia and the expired was experiencing diabetes type II also.
Prior, Dr War said that three specialists from NEIGRIHMS and one medical caretaker from Civil Hospital Shillong were among the 16 new COVID-19 patients affirmed on Friday.
The State presently has 590 dynamic cases which incorporate East Khasi Hills – 446, Ri-Bhoi-72, West Garo Hills – 28, West Jaiñtia Hills-16, East Jaiñtia Hills – 18, West Khasi Hills – 6, and two cases each in South West Garo Hills and South Garo Hills.
With 411 people, who have recouped, and 590 dynamic cases, and six passings, Meghalaya has so far recorded an aggregate of 1,007 cases.
In the mean time, an aggregate of 86 high hazard and generally safe contacts have been followed from the drug specialist of Shillong Civil Hospital who tried positive and disregarded the isolate convention while hanging tight for the test outcome.
