This is a time of problem for everyone. We all are facing the problems. After West Bengal the flood has hitted Assam. According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) on May 23 evening said that the floods have hit 2980 people of Kalgachia revenue circle in Barpeta district and North Lakhimpur revenue circle in Assam. This result in flood problem. It seems the problems are not ready to go away.
Icing was given on the cake, when release of water by Kurichu dam in neighbouring Bhutan and Neepco’s Ranganadi project in the state has worsened the situation. The water level in the Beki river has receded on May 23 after it was flowing 2.31 meter above its danger level on May 22. Which was a high in itself.
