Another important part of Assam is going to start. Assam Assembly’s summer session will start on 31 August with COVID-19 protocol with only 50% of participants. Secretary General of Assam Assembly Mrigendra Kumar Deka said that the party will decide who will represent the party during the assembly session and the corresponding MLAs will attend the hearing.
In the case of the minister, Deka said that there will be no question of their department they would sit in their own space.
Deka further informed that the officer would be allowed to sit only in 20 seats in the gallery officer while 30 seats will be allowed to reporters in the media gallery.
This time, the students and the audience will not be allowed to attend the hearing for coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, 28 ministers and MLAs have been tested positive for COVID-19. On Sunday, MLA Rituparna Baruah and Naren Sonowal in Rapid antigen positive virus test is performed in the Assembly before the session.
