Asaduddin Owaisi on Ajit Doval: Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday targeted National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and said that he should tell who is spreading religious bigotry in the country. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief said in Jaipur on Sunday that we were expecting that the National Security Advisor would tell who those few people are? They should tell the country who those people are, they should speak clearly.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Saturday urged leaders of different religions to counter radical forces trying to create enmity in the name of religion and ideology, which adversely affect the country.

Who is spreading religious bigotry in the country?

Ajit Doval made this remark in the presence of religious leaders of different religions at an inter-religious conference organized by the All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council (AISSC). A resolution was passed at the conference advocating a ban on organizations like the Popular Front of India (PFI) for pursuing divisive agendas and indulging in anti-national activities. However, Owaisi did not respond to a question whether PFI should be banned in the country. On the allegations of promoting fundamentalism, Owaisi said, “Yes, we spread bigotry all over India, the rest are doodh ke dhule.”

Owaisi’s attack on the government

Regarding the political crisis in Sri Lanka, he said that this situation in Sri Lanka happened because the government there did not solve the issue of unemployment, inflation. Didn’t tell anything to the public. He said that the data should come out. Data should be given. We hope that such a situation does not arise in India. He also alleged that for the past few years, the executive has been trying to weaken the legislature in Parliament, thereby reducing the scope for debate.

What did Owaisi say on the monsoon session of Parliament?

Asaduddin Owaisi further said that 14 bills were introduced in the monsoon session of Parliament and were also passed in a few minutes. Parliament meets only 60-65 days in a year, so how will we raise public issues? On the question of Udaipur incident, Owaisi said that we have condemned the incident and we believe that when Kanhaiyalal gave a complaint to the police, then the police should have taken action. If action had been taken at that time, this incident would not have happened. The AIMIM chief said that there will also be a party program in Rajasthan in the coming month.
