Sky Sports reported West Ham have made an offer of € 25m (£ 22.9m) plus € 11m (£ 10.1m) in accessories for central Saint-Etienne. It follows from the reports on France Leicester have had a € 32m (£ 29.5m) bid for Fofana rejected by Saint-Etienne. Fofana is the main target of the city in its search for a new central defender, but their attempts to sign the teenager wantaway are being catapulted by the Ligue 1 club and Claude Puel manager.
L’Equipe report that the latest offer, presented on Monday night, is the third city to the Saint-Etienne, with previous deals entering € 25m (£ 23m) and € 28.5 million (£ 26.2m) . But even with the inclusion of 10 percent on the price of selloff, Puel and Saint-Etienne remain firm.
