Colleges won’t have the option to give association to in excess of 300 universities with the new National Education Policy (NEP) proposing giving more self-sufficiency to schools and eliminating connection framework, Union priest Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said on Wednesday.
“I visited a college as of late and when I asked the bad habit chancellor what number of schools are associated to that college he said 800 degree universities. I thought I heard him wrong. I asked him again and he said 800. It was a conference function. I was shocked. Can any VC recall the names of the directors of 800 degree schools?” the Union instruction serve inquired.
He was tending to a virtual meeting on ‘Training post COVID-19’.
“Can the person keep a tab on the quality and elements of such a colossal number of universities? That is the reason in the NEP we are stating that in a staged way we will chip away at this. One college won’t associate in excess of 300 schools and for that in the event that we have to build the quantity of colleges we will do that,” Nishank said.
