Two arrested in Karnataka BJP leader’s murder case, suspected of having links with PFI

BJP Leader Murder Case: Police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of BJP leader Praveen Nettaru in Karnataka. This information has been given by the police. Police say that two people, identified as Zakir and Shafiq, have been arrested in connection with the murder in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district. Apart from this, these people are also suspected of having links with PFI. Law and Order ADGP Alok Kumar has given this information.

He said that Zakir and Shafiq are being interrogated by taking them into custody tomorrow. These people have been arrested today on the basis of evidence. He also told that some arrests are also possible after interrogation with these people. The police also told that both of them are residents of the same district where Praveen Nettaru lived.

Demand for investigation from NIA

So at the same time, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje has demanded to get the matter investigated by the Central Investigation Agency. The Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has also written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding this matter and has demanded an investigation by the NIA. He has written a letter requesting that the investigation of this case be handed over to the NIA. Apart from this, the Home Minister of Karnataka has also alleged that the recent protests against the hijab could be behind the murder.

PFI and SDPI are being accused

The Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) are being accused of killing Praveen Nettaru. The activists present there have accused these two organizations. Significantly, on the night of Tuesday 26 July, BJP Yuva Morcha leader Praneen Nettaru was murdered at his own shop. The murder was done by unidentified assailants who came on a motorcycle.
