Man Arrested at Delhi Airport: A person going to Bangkok in Delhi has been arrested for carrying more than Rs 15 lakh in foreign currency. This person has been arrested from Indira Gandhi Airport (IGI Airport). The man was carrying more than 15 lakh dollars worth hiding in a packet of papads. Then the CISF personnel posted at the airport caught it.

This person has been identified by the name Rishikesh. Actually, the jawans were doing security checks at Terminal-III of Delhi Airport. During this time this person named Rishikesh also reached there. Seeing the investigation, at first he hesitated a bit, seeing that the security personnel suspected him and then they searched him. During this, the foreign currency hidden in the packet of papad was recovered from that passenger. These currencies were US dollars, which had a value of more than 15 lakhs in Indian rupees. The person was taking this currency out of the country by hiding it.

The matter was reported to the senior officers
Officials said that when they suspected the accused, they took him to a random checking place to check the luggage. When the luggage of that person was examined with the X-ray machine, suspicious pictures of some foreign currency appeared in his luggage. Immediately after this the matter was informed to senior officers of CISF and officials of Customs Department.

CISF handed over the accused to the customs department
The name of the arrested person is Rishikesh and he was going to Bangkok on Vistara flight number UK-121. When the CISF personnel posted at the airport suspected that person, his luggage was searched and US dollars were recovered in papad packets. Counting the recovered US dollars, it was found out that these are 19 thousand 900 US dollars, if we talk about the value in Indian Rupees, then they are around 15 and a half lakh rupees. During interrogation, the person could not give an account about these money, after which he was arrested. The CISF officials posted at the airport have handed over this person to the Custom Department.
