Tests from three locale in Meghalaya have tried positive for African Swine Fever (ASF) on Tuesday.
Episode of African Swine Fever (ASF) in 3 locale of Meghalaya, including West Jaintia Hills, East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi, has been affirmed after the examples from these regions tried positive for ASF.
The pig tests, got from the three Meghalaya locale, were tried at the North Eastern Regional Disease Diagnostics Laboratory in Khanapara.

According to the test outcomes, which came out on Tuesday, all the pig tests were gotten at the research center on August 9.
Two examples were gotten from Shnongpdeng and Nongtalang towns in West Jaintia Hills locale’s Amlarem zone; one example was gotten from Shangpung town in West Jaintia Hills’ Moosyiem zone.
Two examples were gotten from Nongrim Nongladaw and Khlieh Umtrew towns in Ri-Bhoi locale.
Four examples were gotten from Nongmensong, Mowshbuit Nongrim, Mawlai Mawdatbaki and Sohlwai Krang towns in East Khasi Hills locale.
