Although there is no report of any casualty in this attack, but taking advantage of the darkness, the terrorists fled. This attack took place on Wednesday evening in Alochibagh of Srinagar. According to the information shared by the police, terrorists opened fire on a police party going in a vehicle in Alochibagh area of ​​Srinagar district of central Kashmir.

Giving more details about this matter, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has tweeted saying that terrorists have opened fire on a police team going in a vehicle in the Alochibagh dam area of ​​​​Srinagar. In response, the police team also opened fire, after which the terrorists took advantage of the darkness and fled from there. However, no one was hurt in this incident.

A day before the attack on the police post

Earlier on Tuesday, terrorists attacked the Ind police post under Gool police station with a grenade at 5 am. The target of the terrorists was missed and it exploded in a sigh after hitting the roof of the granite outpost. No damage was done because of this. After this, the security forces launched a search operation in the entire area, but there was no trace of the terrorists.

JKGF claimed responsibility for the attack

The responsibility of this attack was taken by the terrorist organization Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF). An alert was issued in the district after the attack. Confirming the matter, Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh said that the Ind police station was attacked with a grenade. This granite collided on the roof and fell on the ground and exploded. However, it did not cause any damage. After this attack, an alert was issued in the entire area and people were asked to remain alert.
