The decision for the final year exam will be given by the Supreme court.The Supreme Court will hear the pleas filed by a group of 31 students against the final year exam guidelines set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) today. Making it mandatory for the colleges to lead the last year tests, UGC has guided them to hold the tests in either on the web or disconnected mode or, in all likelihood by choosing mixed mode where tests can be held in both on the web and disconnected mode.
Looking for abrogation of the test, understudies have said that consequences of conclusive year understudies ought to be determined based on their interior evaluation or past execution.
Just July 18, UGC had delivered a warning which indicated the quantity of colleges that have consented to direct the last year tests. According to the information delivered by the UGC, out of the 818 colleges, 209 others have just led assessment (on-line/disconnected) and 394 are intending to lead assessment (on-line/disconnected/mixed mode) in August or September.
In the mean time, the tests for middle semesters have been dropped because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
