Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is an programme by the Indian Government. Its was started in 2002 for educating the students age between 6 and 14. The programme was initiated introduced by former Indian Prime Minister Indian Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Although it was started in 2002. Its it was in temporary exercise from 1993-1994 , covering 272 districts and 18 states. It wasmandated by the 86th Amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory education.
Full Form of SSA
The full form of SSA is Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. Its main focus is on the education of students studying in school. Its has ₹21,000 crore for this project. SSA has different sub programme’s like ₹21,000 crore for this project Padhe Bharat Badhe Bharat .
