Jammu and Kashmir: On the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and RSS’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole reached Jammu to pay homage to the brave sons who laid down their lives for the country. On this occasion, Hosabole said that along with the police army, the general public also contributed in protecting the country. Jammu and Kashmir showed the resilience to face every situation with a determined determination.
Dattatreya Hosabole said, “After the great decision (merger of India) of Maharaja Hari Singh, now the people of Jammu and Kashmir proudly call themselves Indians. A mass movement of independent India started with the fact that the Constitution of India should be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Prem Nath Dogra, who took part in this mass movement, should be remembered.

Dattatreya Hosabole said, “Pakistan invaded here in 1947 in which many people of Jammu and Kashmir sacrificed their lives. Due to Pakistani attack, a large part of the state is under Pakistan’s control. He said, “People here are living in many parts of India, who played a role in the contribution of India’s construction.”
Defense Minister will also meet military commanders
The Defense Minister will also meet the military commanders based in Jammu. Will take stock of operational preparedness by visiting the forward location. The Chief of the Army Staff will also accompany him.
