During the tenure of one year, Rakesh Asthana made a lot of changes in the system of Delhi Police.
Work done for women empowerment
During her tenure, Delhi Police handed over the command of many districts to women DCPs. At the same time, a large number of women inspectors were also assigned the work of SHO. His purpose of moving the office to the 17th floor in the Police Headquarters was to see the whole of Delhi. Rakesh Asthana said that despite being from the second cadre, he got full cooperation in Delhi Police. Earlier many people were feeling whether I would be able to succeed or not. He said that Delhi is a very challenging place.
