PM Modi launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, appeals to hoist the tricolor from 13 to 15 August

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ on Friday. Along with this, he has appealed to the people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement in large numbers. During this, PM Modi also remembered the courage and efforts of those who dreamed of hoisting the country’s independence and Tricolor in independent India. PM Modi has appealed to hoist the tricolor from 13 to 15 August under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a tweet remembering the moments of history. Along with sharing the details of the committee related to the tricolor, he has also shared the picture of the first tricolor hoisted by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. During this, PM Modi wrote that ‘July 22 has a special significance in our history because the national flag of India was adopted on this day in 1947.’

Appeal to hoist the tricolor from August 13 to 15

PM Modi further wrote, ‘This year when we are celebrating the nectar festival of independence, let us strengthen the tricolor movement at every home. Hoist the tricolor or hoist it in your homes between August 13 and 15. This movement will deepen our association with the national flag.

Campaign launched to inculcate the spirit of patriotism

Prime minister Narendra Modi launched the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to encourage people to bring the tricolor home and hoist it while celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence on the 75th year of the country’s independence. He says that the idea behind this initiative is to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of freedom with the spirit of public participation.

At the same time, according to the Ministry of Culture, states, union territories and ministries are participating enthusiastically in the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign”. At present, the objective of “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign is to hoist the flag across the country from 13-15 August. Along with this, the Government of India is taking several steps to ensure the supply of flags across the country. Under which all post offices of the country will start selling flags from August 1, 2022.
