Petition filed in court regarding Mukesh Ambani’s security, SC gave this order

Mukesh Ambani Family Security: The Supreme Court has given a decision regarding the safety of the country’s well-known industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family members. The court in its order told the Center that the security given to Mukesh Ambani and his family in Mumbai will continue.

A bench of Chief Justice NV Ramana, Justice Krishna Murari and Justice Hima Kohli allowed the appeal of the central government challenging the Tripura High Court’s direction on a PIL. A vacation bench of the apex court had on June 29 stayed the order of the Tripura High Court on a PIL challenging the protection given to industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family members in Mumbai.

This argument given by the center

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, had said that the PIL in Tripura (Vikas Saha) has nothing to do with the security of people provided in Mumbai. The Tripura High Court had issued two interim orders on May 31 and June 21 on a PIL filed by Saha and directed the central government to provide the original file relating to the threat to the lives of Ambani, his wife and children. On the basis of which security was provided to all of them.

On this decision of Tripura High Court, the central government had approached the Supreme Court expressing its objection. Earlier, the Central Government had said in an appeal in the Supreme Court that the security given to any family is not an issue of public interest and Ambani’s security has nothing to do with Tripura.
