Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position of Consultant (LPG Recovery Plant), candidates must meet the following criteria:
Retirement Status
- Grade: Must have retired from at least the Grade D or an equivalent post from Oil India Limited (OIL) or any other Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP & NG).
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: The applicant should not be more than 65 years old as of the last date of receipt of the application.
Experience
- Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of working experience in Instrumentation and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) in the oil and gas sector.
- Specific Experience: At least 3 years of experience in LPG Recovery Plant Instrumentation.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with policies, safety protocols, statutory regulations, and industry standards pertinent to the oil and gas sector in India.
Job Roles
As a Consultant (LPG Recovery Plant), you will have a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of instrumentation systems. Your duties will include:
Daily Responsibilities
- Work Schedules: Preparing daily work schedules and monitoring progress.
- Priority Setting: Setting priorities and ensuring the execution of works as per the set priorities.
- Supervision: Overall supervision of instrumentation-related activities.
Coordination and Compliance
- Liaison: Coordinating with the LPG Operation, Mechanical, and Electrical Sections.
- Technical Integration: Supervising the integration and hooking up of instruments.
- Compliance: Ensuring technical conformance and compliance for each job.
Testing and Troubleshooting
- Planning: Planning for testing and re-commissioning of all individual instruments and equipment.
- Oversight: Overseeing overall testing and re-commissioning of DCS and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems.
- Troubleshooting: Supervising troubleshooting and rectification post-commissioning.
Record Keeping
- Documentation: Keeping daily records and generating reports.
