NIA Arrests Salim Fruit: NIA arrested Salim Fruit alias Salim Qureshi, brother-in-law of gangster Chhota Shakeel. Salim Fruits is very close to Chhota Shakeel due to family ties. Chhota Shakeel treats him like his own son. Salim is married to the younger sister of Chhota Shakeel’s wife. Salim’s father Umar Qureshi used to sell fruits in the Nal Bazar area of ​​Mumbai, that is why Salim is addressed as Salim Fruit. Before joining this gang, Salim used to export fruits in Dubai as well. He has offices in Dubai and London and also has a luxurious bungalow in Dubai. There are many cases of recovery registered against Salim.

NIA had raided these places

Apart from this, a team had gone to Mahim area of ​​Mumbai where raids were conducted at Suhail Khandwani’s house. Khandwani is the trustee of Mahim Dargah and Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai. After raiding the house, NIA officials took him to his office in Mahim and there he was also interrogated. NIA is also interrogating a person named Abdul Qayum in this case. Kayum was an accused in the 1993 blasts case but was later acquitted of all charges by the Special Tada Court due to lack of evidence at the time of trial.

A team of NIA has also raided the place of a 71-year-old man living in Pydhuni area. Sources said that the person runs a trust named Dawood Trust. He has a daughter who lives abroad. NIA has also raided in Borivali where it raided the house of Ajay Gosalia. Ajay Gosalia is a bookie by profession and is reportedly also close to D-Company. It is accused of money laundering through a hawala operator for D-Company. NIA has also given notice to Abdul Mannan Sheikh alias Mannan Shovda for questioning. Mannan has been an important witness in the 1993 blasts case.

What was the NIA FIR?

The NIA told in its FIR that Dawood Ibrahim, a global terrorist, has formed a special unit to terrorize India. Which has made preparations to target the big leaders and businessmen of India. By doing this, they want to spread violence in other cities including the country’s capital Delhi and the country’s financial capital Mumbai. The NIA has registered this case against Dawood Ibrahim, Anis Ibrahim Sheikh, Chhota Shakeel, Javed Patel alias Javed Chikna, Tiger Memon.

Dawood Ibrahim is an accused in the 1993 blasts in Mumbai and is absconding. Dawood Ibrahim was declared a global terrorist and he is hiding in Pakistan. Dawood does all the illegal acts such as arms smuggling, narco terrorism, underworld criminal syndicate, money laundering, fake Indian currency and land grab. By doing such work, he collects money so that terrorist activities can be carried out. For this, he also works closely with terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Al-Qaeda.
